Mary White

jewelry and small objects made for creative thinkers

handmade in Annapolis, Maryland

who I am.

I was born and raised in Annapolis and returned in 2019 after 20 years of adventuring in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Northern California and Colorado.

Jewelry was something I always made- when I was in elementary school I begin selling it to friends, neighbors, and in local craft fairs. In my early 20's, I began taking classes at Maryland Institute College of Art's Meadow Mill facility, then moved to New York to complete the studio program at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

My experience since then has been in production design, custom jewelry creation, diamond consultation and instruction at Moore College and Maryland Hall for the Arts. I have worked for Paul Morelli, Brilliant Earth, and DVBNY, where I handmade the designs of Elsa Peretti for Tiffany and Co.

I now work in marketing and enjoy teaching all ages at Maryland Hall for the Arts whenever possible. My partner of 20+ years, Scott, teaches there as well and is an encaustic artist. We live in beautiful Annapolis with our kiddo and two bossy pets.
